How many sessions are included?

- There are 4 sessions per calendar year included with your Package. You'll often start with a studio branding session which can be scheduled at any time, although most people like to refresh their headshot and basic branding images before the new year in December when the weather is cold and there is a lull in business. After Studio Branding, there is a Curated Location shoot witch changes locations each year. We try to choose a beautiful home where we can capture a large variety of lifestyle images including kitchen, cozy home, office, bedroom, porch or backyard etc. This gives you those beautiful curated images for your marketing without having to clean up your kid's toys or remodel your kitchen! There is also a shoot scheduled for outdoors in the early summer to capture the beauty of nature and incorporate some outdoor lifestyle images, and the final shoot is at a destination of your choice. Often times this is at your home, office or a place that speaks to you or your brand and is done in the early Fall.

How many images do I get with each session?

-Each session will yield around 150 proofs, you'll choose 25 portraits that include you as well as branded stock, product or signage images. You can purchase additional images right from your gallery.

How many looks are included in each shoot?

-For your studio shoot, I encourage 5-6 changes of clothes or "looks" to get you a diverse base of branded imagery. After that, each session is 1 hour so it's up to you how many times you would like to change clothes in that timeframe.

What if I want to be photographed at my office or home?

-One of our quarterly sessions allows for the flexibility to be photographed somewhere that speaks to you or your business. Often this is your home or office, but it can also be a location that represents your brand in some way.

When do I pay for my session?

-Invoices for each session will go out 1 month in advance of our shoot, on the 1st of the month or at the time of scheduling. I offer a monthly payment plan should you decide that works better for you and your business. Upfront payment for the year saves you 5%.

How long does it take to get my images back?

-Proofs from your session will be ready within 1 week of your shoot. You'll select your final images via online gallery and your retouched image suite will be delivered two weeks after selections are made.

What do I need for my branded stock photos, and why do I need these?

-We always shoot some branded stock photos or branded lifestyle images at each session so that  your logo, or your swag/colors/letterhead are available to use in your marketing. Using personalized photos instead of stock strengthens your brand recognition. You can bring anything related to your business to be photographed! Every brand is different!We will shoot these at the same time as your session, usually while you are changing clothes;)

What if I need a headshot?

-If you don't currently have a professional headshot or one that looks like you, we suggest starting with your studio branding session. This helps you populate your website, linkedin and other staples of your business with professional images that get you off to a great start!

Do I have to market to certain holidays?

-At each session we will do some upcoming holiday marketing but it's up to you how much or how little you'd like to focus on that. You're welcome to bring your own holiday props and we are happy to incorporate them, or just skip holiday marketing all together. You know what's best for your brand.

Are hair and make-up included?

-Professional hair and make-up are included with your studio session. We want you to have clean, professional images that represent the best version of you, as well as take the stress out of preparing for such a big session. The other three sessions do not include hair and make-up for a more natural, lifestyle look but you can always add-on a stylist for $200. We also have a large wardrobe in many sizes that is available to supplement your clothing choices!

What kind of files do I get?

-Each image you receive comes in a Marketing Suite. This consists of an original crop, a square image, a banner and a cutout. It also includes both the hi-res and web versions. Your images are fully retouched and ready to be used immediately. 

What if I do my own marketing but don't know how?

-If you are new to content marketing, we are happy to schedule a 20 minute zoom with you to get you started on your marketing, and teach you the basics of using Canva to create beautiful, cohesive and branded posts and materials. We recommend the PRO account! This service is included in your session fee.

What if I use a marketing agency?

-If you use a marketing agency, we are happy to link them directly to your images and work with them on any modifications they may need for your specific project.

What happens if i quit mid-year?

-Our quarterly branding sessions are intended to be a one year commitment which is what allows the cost per image to be significantly lower than our regular sessions. We book locations well in advance and need your full commitment to ensure they are available to the group. We only select a small number of brands to work with in this comprehensive way. Therefore will ask you to sign a contract committing to the cost of all 4 sessions, or $10,000 for the year. We are happy to bill you either monthly or quarterly.
