I've photographed and studied all over the world and love seeing new places and meeting new people. I love camping and frequently pack up my family and little dog, Squirrel, to pull our camper and explore all over the USA!
I always have multiple renovation projects and ideas going at one time. Luckily multi-tasking is my super power! I love sushi, will never turn down a glass of red wine with a friend, and always enjoy new adventures with my partner and kids.
There is never a day that doesn't start with coffee.

I especially love working with female business owners because I know how hard it is to wear all the hats in our businesses! I shoot in stunning locations in Colorado and around the world, but also in my studio. My personal style is a little boho, no frills, romantic. I love natural elements like peonies and dried grasses and anything with a beautiful texture. Ultimately, I'm here to capture YOUR unique brand's style and feel and that's what makes my work so interesting and fun! It's never the same session twice!

My Why
Existing in portraits was never a priority for my mom and now that she's gone, I would give anything to have those moments captured. She, like many women, always avoided the camera for one reason or another. I cherish every photo we have of her. Women should EXIST in photographs! My mission is to encourage women to leave a legacy of their life through portraits, not only for themselves but for their family.

After my son was born I took this photo and was blown away by the impact and emotion an image could elicit. This portrait still means so much to me. I started my business to capture these important moments for others and have been shooting ever since!
how it began
my love of photography
My dad put a camera in my hands at a young age and I spent years helping him photograph weddings. After studying Fine Art at the University of Colorado, I found my passion in portraiture. I've been mentored by some of the best photographers, retouchers, and educators in the industry and continue to learn and study with those I admire. I recently became an accredited photographer and am also working towards my masters. I regularly enter print competitions and have several award winning images. I'll never stop learning and growing in my craft!
